Salary
Salary claims in this industry are frequently inflated. The figures below are our own students' recorded outcomes, verifiable by name on our placements page.
Short answer
Fresher compensation sorts by company type rather than by skill. Services and consulting firms hire the most people and cluster lower: our TCS placements have come in between ₹7.5 and ₹9.09 LPA as System Engineers. Product and enterprise firms hire far fewer at materially higher numbers: ₹16 LPA at Infosys, ₹13 LPA at Target and at BEL, ₹18 LPA at SAP.
This is the most important thing to understand about fresher salary, and why a headline number without context is meaningless. The distribution isn't a bell curve around an average; it's clusters, and which one you land in is decided by the process you clear.
Roughly in order of impact:
Treat any institute quoting a single average CTC with suspicion, including us if we did. An average is trivially inflated by excluding unplaced students or quoting maximum rather than median. Ask what it's averaged over and how many people are in it.
We publish individual outcomes instead (name, college, company, role, package) because individual records can be checked and an average can't.
From a training background, offers in our cohorts run ₹4 to ₹16 LPA. The services-firm cluster around ₹4 to ₹9 LPA is the most common landing point and a perfectly reasonable start.
Barely, at fresher level. The company and role determine the number. Java's advantage is more openings rather than higher pay per opening.
The first switch, typically after eighteen months to two years, is usually the largest single jump of an early career. The first offer is a starting point, not a ceiling.
That one is. Sai Srikar Reddy, IT Consultant at SAP, is listed on our placements page. It's also our highest recorded outcome rather than a typical one.
