Tap Academy (“Tap Academy”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and wants you to understand how we collect, use and share your data. This Privacy Policy covers our data-collection practices and describes your rights to access, correct or restrict the use of your personal data.

The data controller for information collected through the Services is Tap Academy, a private company registered in India, with its registered office at BTM Layout 2nd Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560076.

Student Payment Data

Instructor & Moderator Payment Data

Instructors and moderators may be required to create an account and provide the information we need to issue payments, which may include:

  • GSTIN
  • Bank details

We do not collect or store sensitive bank-account information. Payment and billing information is also governed by the privacy policy and terms of the applicable payment-account provider.

If you connect a social-media or other online account to TAP Academy (for example, by signing in through LinkedIn or another third-party platform), we may request permission to access information from that account.

Depending on the platform and your settings, this may include:

Third-party platforms make this information available through their APIs. What we receive depends on your privacy settings, the information the platform decides to provide, and the permissions you grant. Sweepstakes, Promotions & Surveys
