The hiring process is more predictable than it feels from outside. Knowing its shape is most of what separates candidates who clear it from equally capable ones who don't.
Short answer
Fresher hiring here is fairly standardised. An online assessment filters the pool on aptitude and basic coding. A technical round follows, weighted heavily toward data structures and algorithms. Then a deeper conversation covering your projects, the fundamentals behind them, and sometimes basic system design. HR closes it.
Each round has a distinct failure mode, which is useful: preparation can be targeted rather than diffuse.

For DSA, consistency beats intensity: solve problems daily over months so pattern recognition develops. For projects, build fewer things properly. You should be able to explain every architectural decision and what broke while you built it, which is the question that separates real projects from copied ones.
For communication, practise solving problems aloud with someone listening. It feels unnatural and is the highest-return preparation most candidates never do, which is why structured mock interviews matter.
Rejection at CV stage is a different problem from rejection at interview. The fix is usually clearer project descriptions, a public GitHub with real commit history, and applying to a wider range of company types rather than only well-known names.
It's also where an institute's hiring network earns its fee: access to companies actively recruiting bypasses the CV filter that eliminates most cold applications.
