This is our own page, so treat it accordingly and read the independent sources too. We've tried to summarise the feedback fairly rather than select the flattering parts.
Short answer
The recurring feedback is about method rather than content: daily coding practice, real projects committed to GitHub, and a structured progression from fundamentals to advanced material. Students frequently single out the mock interviews as closely simulating real hiring loops.
The pace is demanding, particularly in the first weeks and particularly without prior coding exposure. It comes up consistently enough in public reviews that we'd rather state it plainly than let you discover it in week three.
If you're starting from zero, plan for study beyond class hours from the beginning. Students who do report the difficulty levelling off after a couple of months; students who don't are the ones who struggle.
We'd rather point you at sources we don't control. Glassdoor carries the largest volume of reviews about us; Google Maps reviews of the BTM campus and discussions on Reddit and Quora are also worth reading, including the critical ones.
We also run tapacademyreviews.com, which collects student reviews from LinkedIn and Google in one place. It's ours, so treat it as a starting index rather than an independent source, and follow any review there back to the platform it was posted on.
One caution that applies to this whole industry, us included: be sceptical of testimonials republished on an institute's own site. Reviews lifted from their original platform lose everything that made them verifiable, which is why this page links out rather than reprinting.
It depends on your starting point and the time you can commit. Students who work outside class hours generally do well; those expecting class time alone to be enough tend to struggle. Read the independent reviews and sit in on a class before deciding.
Placement support continues until you're placed rather than expiring, and we publish outcomes by student name, company and package rather than as a percentage. Verify by checking a few of those names on LinkedIn.
Course pace, particularly for absolute beginners. It's the criticism that appears most consistently in public reviews and we think it's fair.
The placements we publish include student names, colleges, companies and roles specifically so they can be checked. We'd encourage checking them, and asking any other institute for the same.
